What they're building

I’m exploring an AI agent that helps people reduce recurring expenses such as internet, mobile, insurance, and software subscriptions. The agent reviews your bills, identifies where you may be overpaying, contacts providers on your behalf, negotiates better terms, and asks for approval before accepting any change.

What they want to validate or improve

I want to understand whether people would trust an agent to communicate and negotiate with service providers for them. What level of control would you need before connecting your accounts or sharing bills?

What they've tried or learned

The biggest friction was not negotiation itself, but collecting account details, waiting for support, and comparing offers. My current hypothesis is that people will delegate the process if they remain in control of the final decision.

I’d give this a shot. Dealing with bills is such a pain. I wouldn’t let it do everything on its own straight away, but if you’ve got something ready, I’d try it.
